Ontoforce challenge at the SWAT4LS hackathon

Our gold sponsor Ontoforce is proposing a challenge for the upcoming SWAT4LS hackathon: define a linked-data representation of people, so that author names from PubMed affiliations can be linked to a URI. We offer an iPad mini to that participant that is able to link most author names in PubMed to a URI. It is allowed to update on existing sources.

Submissions are open, registration are open, updates on the program!

Submissions to SWAT4LS 2014 are now open, and registrations will open in the morning of September 1st.
Stefan Decker, director at the Insight Centre for Data Analytics, will join the current lineup of keynotes.
The preliminary list of tutorials now covers ontologies for HL7, natural language interfaces for the Linked-Data, rule systems, EMBL-EBI RDF resources and relational/rdf integration via ontop.

First keynotes confirmed at SWAT4LS 2014

We have confirmed the first keynotes for SWAT4LS 2014. They will be Andre Dekker , from MAASTRO clinic, NL and Maryann Martone, from UCSD, USA.
